Parish Council Nominations

Beginning Feb. 7/8, we invite parishioners to submit nominations for two open Parish Council positions. The Parish Council is a consultative body that supports our Pastor by helping to identify parish needs and envision, plan, and guide parish life in alignment with our Vision & Mission.
We are especially hoping to welcome one parent with children enrolled in our Faith Formation program and one high school student (freshman or sophomore) to better reflect our parish community. We currently do not have a parent of younger children serving on the Council, and our teen member will be graduating this spring.
We also welcome nominations from any interested parishioner.The Nomination Process
- Parishioners, current Council members, and parish staff may submit nominations (including self-nominations).
- Nomination forms are available online, in the bulletin, and as hardcopies in the Atrium.
- Nominees will be contacted by Fr. Kevin, invited to complete an application, and can meet with current Council members to learn more about the role.
- Eligible candidates will be included in a prayerful “choosing ceremony,” where new members are selected at random, guided by the Holy Spirit.
Membership Criteria
- Registered parishioner for at least six months
- Baptized, received First Communion and Confirmation (or working toward Confirmation for high school students)
- Active in one or more areas of parish life
